Global Gateway Connect Process Flow:

1. Once you have developed your website you simply create an order form, copy and past a few HTML tags and you’re ready for business!
2. A customer visits the order form located on the your web server. The customer selects the item they want to purchase and clicks on the Pay Now button.
3. The customer is then transferred to a highly secure payment form hosted on one of the Global Gateway secure servers, where they enter their billing and shipping address, and their credit card number and expiration date.
4. The customer can then review the receipt page, confirming the details of their approved credit card transaction.
5. Global Gateway automatically sends an e-mail receipt to the customer for their purchase.
6. All order and payment information is posted back to the merchant’s web server.
7. Finally, the customer is returned to an Order Confirmed page on your website that outlines the details of the order and reminds the customer that a receipt has been e-mailed.

Global Gateway API Process Flow:

4. The order and payment data are transmitted through an SSL-secure Internet connection to your SSL-secured web server.
5. Your shopping cart software and the Global Gateway API work together to process the order.
6. Global Gateway then transmits the order and payment information to the credit card processing network through a dedicated lease line and receives a response.
7. The Global Gateway API automatically sends the customer an e-mail receipt for their purchase and returns order confirmation information through your secure web server, containing order details and instructions for any downloadable items.
8. All order and payment information is posted back to your web server.
9. Finally, the customer is returned to an Order Confirmed page on your website that outlines the details of the order and reminds the customer that a receipt has been e-mailed.
